On the afternoon of August 21, the Information Office of Zhejiang Provincial People's Government held a press conference to share information related to the Third Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE).

GDTE, currently the only national-level international professional exhibition in China dedicated to digital trade. With the approval, GDTE will hold its third edition from September 25 to 29 at the Hangzhou Grand Convention and Exhibition Center in Zhejiang.

Why has the top-tier national exhibition decided to take place at the Hangzhou Grand Convention and Exhibition Center?

Come and find out!

Geographical Advantages with a Well-Designed Layout

Located in the core area of the Hangzhou Airport Economic Demonstration Zone, the Hangzhou Grand Convention and Exhibition Center is built to the standards of the next-generation exhibition complexes, aligning with premier large exhibition venues both domestically and internationally. Spanning 1,110 mu (c.a. 740,000sqm), it boasts a total building area of 1.34 million square meters and an indoor net exhibition space of 300,000 square meters. The first phase includes a building area of 640,000 square meters and a net exhibition space of 155,000 square meters, featuring eight halls and ten exhibition halls organized in a "fishbone" design. The Conference Center (Hall 1) and Event Center (Hall 5) are both adaptable for different projects.

Smart Venue, Smart Operations

Dedicated to the vision to become the benchmark for smart venues in China, the Hangzhou Grand Convention and Exhibition Center features a Smart Operations Command Center. This command center allows for an intuitive understanding of foot traffic, vehicle flow, parking details, equipment status, air quality, noise levels, and energy consumption in various areas of the exhibition center. Additionally, following its connection with the "City Brain" network, visitors will be able to access information on local traffic conditions.

The command center will serve as the "brain" for the 3rd GDTE, where managers can easily conduct operations scheduling, logistics vehicle scheduling, and electronic credential management through large screens. This setup enables precise control and command of the venue.

Meet The World Here

At the Hangzhou Grand Convention and Exhibition Center, the concept of a "customer-friendly venue" is a key initiative. The center implements a one-stop, full-process service system led by project managers, tailoring personalized operational service plans for each exhibition. To ensure the smooth operation of GDTE, the Hangzhou Grand Convention and Exhibition Center has been conducting rigorous premier exhibition projects from July to September. This comprehensive evaluation includes thorough inspections and drills on all facilities, along with service teams, to ensure optimal operational support for the event.
